General Information about the Race
The Rodos Cup is an international sailing race organized annually in the Aegean Sea by the Rhodes Offshore Sailing Club (ASIATHR). It started in 1997 and has evolved into one of the most important sailing races in Greece, attracting participants from all over the world.
- July 6 – Registration & Opening Ceremony in Kos
- July 7 – Kos → Kalymnos
- July 8 – Kalymnos → Nisyros
- July 9 – Rest day in Nisyros
- July 10 – Nisyros → Chalki
- July 11 – Chalki → Rhodes (Closing Ceremony)
Race Participation
Essential requirements:
- The crew of each boat must consist of 3 to 12 people (including the skipper).
- The skipper must have a valid athlete’s license.
- If you do not have an athlete’s license, contact us so we can guide you through the process of obtaining one.
- IMS (ORC International & ORC Club)
- IRC Racing (IRC Endorsed)
- IRC Cruising (IRC non-Endorsed, IRC Endorsed without spinnaker)
- Cruising (without certificate)

By Air: The island has Kos International Airport (KGS) with direct flights from Athens and various European cities.
By Sea: There are daily ferry routes to Kos from:

- Rhodes and other Dodecanese islands (Dodekanisos Seaways)
- Turkey (Bodrum Express)
